ISSA Certified Personal Trainer (Strength and Conditioning)

About Me

Welcome! My name is David Nappier.

I am currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and in my senior year, studying Health Sciences and Wellness, with a minor in Exercise Performance. I will also be graduating with a certificate in Nutrition for Health and Wellness.

I live in southeastern Wisconsin and do most of my work out of the St. John's Northwestern Military Academy ‘s Strength Facility. I also have partnered with Project Fitness, Watertown to provide training to their clients. Lastly, I do have online clients from all over!

Athletic History:

I played competitive Ice Hockey for 11 years before deciding to solely pursue my education. While playing Hockey, I was fortunate enough to play in the NA3HL (North American Tier 3 Hockey League) and stand as an assistant captain in my second year with the Milwaukee Power (now the West Bend Power).

After a long while of playing competitively, I realized I began to enjoy the training aspect of Hockey more than actually playing, and that's when I knew my love of coaching began.

Coaching History:

This is my first year as a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach; however, I have been in a coaching role for 8 years now. Originally, I am from the Southern Illinois Area, and while living there, I worked for Elite Hockey Camps as both an on and off-ice instructor for age groups ranging from 6- 18 years old.

Since moving to Wisconsin, I have been fortunate enough to work for Impact Hockey Academy as a Lead Instructor for On-ice training and I am the Head Strength and Conditioning coach. With Impact, I have worked with skills ranging from brand-new players to athletes aspiring to play Division 1 Hockey. While I actively work for Impact Hockey Academy, I am looking to branch out into other areas and work with elite and aspiring athletes from a myriad of sports!
